01. Definitions and Collective Identity
“Customer”, “you”, “your”: Means any natural or legal person, including its authorized representatives, who accesses the Site, uses the Services, or interacts with the Company through any available digital channels.
“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”: Refers collectively and jointly and severally to Huron Smith Oil Co Inc, HSO Petroleum Services LLC and HSO Global LLC. Any obligation, right, claim or communication may be exercised, pursued or attended by any of these entities individually or together, depending on the nature of the service and the applicable jurisdiction.
“Services”: Include, but are not limited to, the Site, web and mobile applications, APIs, SaaS platforms, data management systems, marketing automation tools, technology consulting services and any other product or functionality offered by the Company, whether paid or free of charge.
“Content”: All material, data, text, images, video, audio, source code, software, documentation, trademarks, logos and graphic elements present on the Site or provided through the Services.
02. Acceptance and Modifications of the Terms
By accessing the Site or using any of the Services, you represent that you have read, understood and unconditionally accepted these Terms. This agreement constitutes a legally binding contract between you and the Company.
The Company reserves the right to modify, update or replace these Terms at any time, without prior notice, by posting the updated version on this page. The date of last update will indicate when the changes become effective. You are advised to review this section periodically. Continued use of the Site after the posting of changes constitutes acceptance of those changes.
03. Use of the Site, Software and APIs
Limited license. Unless otherwise stated, the Company grants you a non‑exclusive, non‑transferable, revocable and limited license to access and use the Site and the Services solely for lawful purposes, in accordance with the published documentation and subject to the restrictions set forth herein.
General restrictions. You are expressly prohibited from:
- Using the Services in any way that violates any applicable local, state, national or international law or regulation.
- Reverse engineering, decompiling, disassembling, modifying, adapting, translating or creating derivative works of the software, APIs or any technological component of the Company, except to the extent mandatory law allows it.
- Reselling, sublicensing, renting or commercializing access to the Services without a written agreement.
- Interfering with the security of the Site, attempting to gain unauthorized access to any area, introducing malicious code, or conducting denial‑of‑service attacks.
- Performing bulk data extraction through web scraping techniques, unless expressly authorized via our official APIs under specific conditions.
Use of APIs. HSO Technology’s APIs are governed by these Terms and by the technical guidelines and rate limits published in the corresponding documentation. You must authenticate according to the established protocols. The Company reserves the right to monitor usage, suspend or revoke API access in case of abuse, traffic overages or breach of policies. API access does not grant any additional intellectual property rights over the data or software.
Software as a Service (SaaS). When the Services include SaaS platforms, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials, for all activity occurring under your account, and for backing up any data you upload to the platform, to the extent the service does not provide automatic backup measures. The Company reserves the right to deploy updates, security patches and new versions that may modify or remove previous functionalities; whenever possible, reasonable advance notice will be given.
04. Intellectual Property
All Content on the Site, including texts, graphics, logos, icons, images, audio clips, digital downloads, data compilations, software and overall design, is the property of Huron Smith Oil Co Inc, HSO Petroleum Services LLC, HSO Global LLC or their licensors, and is protected by the intellectual property laws of the United States of America, international treaties and, particularly, the copyright laws of Florida and Mississippi.
Reproduction, distribution, public communication, transformation or any other unauthorized exploitation of the Content is prohibited without the prior written consent of the Company, except in cases permitted by law.
The trademarks, service marks and logos displayed on the Site are registered or unregistered trademarks of the Company. No license or right to use them is granted by mere use of the Site.
05. User Comments and User‑Generated Content
Certain sections of the Site may allow users to post comments, reviews, or exchange information. The Company does not pre‑moderate such content, but reserves the right to monitor, edit or remove any posting it deems inappropriate, offensive, defamatory, fraudulent, or that infringes third‑party rights.

Our Site may contain links to third‑party websites. The Company does not control such sites or their privacy practices and assumes no responsibility for their content or conduct. The inclusion of a link does not imply approval or endorsement.
You may link to our home page or to public pages of the Site provided you do so in a fair and lawful manner that does not harm our reputation. No link shall suggest false association, sponsorship, or endorsement by HSO Technology. We reserve the right to demand removal of any link at any time.
07. Disclaimer of Warranties and Limitation of Liability
The Services are provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, reliability and non‑infringement. The Company does not warrant that the Site will operate uninterruptedly, be error‑ or virus‑free, or that results obtained from the use of the Services will be accurate or reliable.
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Company, its affiliates, officers, employees and agents shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, punitive or consequential damages, including loss of profits, data, use, goodwill or other intangible losses, arising out of or in connection with the use or inability to use the Services.
Notwithstanding the foregoing, nothing in these Terms shall limit or exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded by law.
